Fox News provided the story, via Fark. They have only prevented a handful of mice from developing breast cancer so far. But these are mice that were bred to be prone to breast cancer, so 100% prevention is better than the placebo effect.
I wonder if lab rats are subject to the placebo effect?
Anyway, this sounds really promising to me.
